Importing data — CSV, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Stripe, Notion
Move your existing CRM data into Sambandh without losing context.
What we support
- CSV / TSV / XLSX upload (browser-side parser, never leaves your machine until you confirm)
- HubSpot — contacts + deals + companies via OAuth
- Pipedrive — full pipeline + activity history
- Salesforce — Leads + Contacts + Opportunities (Enterprise edition; SOQL-driven)
- Stripe — every paying customer becomes a contact, MRR + churn flow as fields
- Notion / Airtable — pick a database, map columns once
- Google Contacts / Outlook Contacts — sync (not just import)
CSV import — step-by-step
Open the migration tool
Go to moveto.sambandh.io or click Import → CSV from inside the app. Both lead to the same browser-first wizard.
Open CSV importDrop your file
Drag-drop or click to upload. Files up to 50 MB / 100K rows are parsed locally; we don't POST your data anywhere until you confirm the mapping.
Review the column mapping
Sambandh auto-maps common column names (email → Email, "Company" / "Org" → Company, etc). Drag any unmatched columns onto the right field, or mark them as custom fields.
Spot-check the preview
The wizard shows the first 5 rows as they'll appear in the CRM. Look for: email format, phone normalization, date format, and any encoding artifacts (smart quotes, etc).
Run the import
Confirm. We import in 100-row batches with progress. Duplicate detection runs on email; matching contacts get merged (your import file wins for filled fields, existing contact wins for empty ones).
Verify in Contacts
Open Contacts. Filter by Source = "CSV import" to see only what you just brought in. Sample 5–10 to check quality.
View imported contacts
Coming from HubSpot / Pipedrive / Salesforce
Use the dedicated migration paths under moveto.sambandh.io/from/<vendor>. They preserve more than a CSV export does — pipeline stages, deal probabilities, activity history, custom fields.
Run a small test migration first (20–30 contacts). Verify the result, then re-run for the full set. Migrations are idempotent — re-running with the same source data deduplicates rather than duplicates.
